This striking sculpture by Wim Klabbers (1928) is part of a series of six 'Gehelmden'. The four-metre-high artwork is constructed from bent, riveted pieces of sheet iron, forming a seated human figure with a beak-like helmet. Unveiled in 1990, the artwork was a gift from two construction companies to the community upon completion of the flat. Read more
