Close Harmony (artistic object)
Visual artist Thea van Vliet (1956) has designed a three-meter high mosaic art object especially for the Etten-Leur-Noord district, which she then produced in 2009 together with students from two schools and a number of residents. The name Close Harmony has to do with all kinds of aspects of 'de Leur', which together form a whole and radiate the identity of the village center. The good coexistence with the village center 'Etten' is also reflected in this image (instinctively). It is made of stainless steel, polyester and photos burned into hundreds of mosaic stones.
