Re-opening museums Etten-Leur
The Etten-Leurs museums are currently making all preparations to reopen on or around 1 June. Museum visits are possible from 1 June on reservation, if people stay 1.5 meters apart and follow the protocols. These are the Regional Museum Etten + Leur in the Paulushofje (Markt), the Dutch Printing Museum on the Lark and the Van Gogh Church Raadhuisplein / Markt.
The draft protocols include that the museums adjust walking routes to separate incoming and outgoing visitors, take all kinds of other measures to protect the volunteers and visitors and that a maximum number of visitors is used. Of course everything is subject to the latest government guidelines. Also keep an eye on the museums' websites and social media for the current state of affairs.
It is not yet known what the other Etten-Leurse museums will do. The Sawmill-Clog Museum on the Schuitvaartjaagpad and the Nature Museum on Lange Brugstraat are still waiting. The Van Osch Steam Museum says on the website that it may have an open shooting day on 4 July.
The Tourist Information Point on Markt 4 also hopes to reopen on 1 June and be able to receive visitors. From that moment on, the MuseumPas Etten-Leur will be available again. The pass gives access to three museums, coffee and apple pie for only 10 euros.
